PROJECT INFO
As we move into the fall of 2011, artists image resource continues to re tool and rethink how it provides resources for the artist, the educator and the community. We have begun to tighten up how we provide programs and services and we have engaged more people in the overall operation. We are changing our hours of operation and should have some new web access and information structures that will make things a bit more accessible while maintaining our focus on supporting new work by working artists throughout the region and beyond.

We are working with the BrewHouse in support of their Distillery Program this year. We will host an exhibition of work by these artists sometime in December.

We are back in the swing with our annual “resident artists projects” for 2011. We are working with Jerstin Crosby, Tresa Varner, Abbey Sheehan, Michael Hegedus, Michael Budai and Robert Williams. We are hoping to schedule a final exhibition of the work in early 2012.

We are nearing completion with the Pittsburgh Portfolio project supported by the Carnegie Museums and the Heinz Endowments. This project has been an ongoing part of the shop for some time now and soon we will call it complete.

Thanks for all of the support and please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can make our operations more accessible and responsive to your needs. Please send all questions and queries to info@artistsimageresource.org.
