Digital Printing Services
AIR prints fine art archival prints from an Epson 9890 printer using a variety of archival substrates. The printer prints up to 42” x 80” (plus). Pricing is calculated based on square footage of media leaving the printer, the substrate used, and the complexity of the image preparation.
Square foot pricing anticipates minimal prep and color testing. If image prep and manipulation exceed this allowance (15 minutes) Tech Time will be added.
Papers leave the printer at standard sizes, trimming and Finishing services are billed separately.
New Printing Screens (aluminum)
When shop inventory allows, AIR sells standard size screens, stretched with 200 yellow mesh. Other mesh counts and sizes can be custom ordered. (200 MESH).
If you are looking for a screen to use for a short term project but do not want to own it, the studio provides short term screen rentals for projects and educational programs. (pricing does not include exposure).
The studio makes hinged lock downs, printing boards, squeegees, and other equipment and supplies available to the artist and educator on a short term rental basis.
Photographic Silkscreen Exposure (new screens)
The studio coats and exposes standard size photographic screens for a fee. Screen sizes must conform to shop storage spaces. This process demands at least 48 hours for delivery.
Photo Screen Exposure (used screens)
On a case by case basis the studio may be able to expose standard size screens belonging to others. The screen must be inspected and pricing is adjusted based on the condition of the screen.
