Robert Beckman,
 Co-Founder, Executive Committee Member. Mr. Beckman is an artist and educator with over 30 years of experience exhibiting work and teaching (Carnegie Mellon University and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania). Mr. Beckman is an accomplished printmaker and has over 15 years of experience running a small business. He is one of the Co-Founders of Artists Image Resource and currently serves as the organization’s Director.

Alison Oehler, 2014 Board Chair, Executive Committee Member, holds a Master in Arts Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University Heinz School of Public Policy and Management. Ms. Oehler has been the Gallery Director at Concept Art Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA, since 2003 and is a qualified appraiser of Fine Art through the Appraisers Association of America.

Catena Bergevin, Executive Committee Member and Incoming Chair, is the Director of Development at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and has years of experience developing and managing office systems and procedures for various businesses and organizations. Prior to joining the Westmoreland, she was the Director of Operations at the Mattress Factory Museum for nearly 10 years.

Anderson English, Executive Committee Member and Outgoing Chair, is an educator and Photographer. As an educator, Mr. English began teaching photography at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1996 and is currently the Academic Department Director for Photography. Anderson received his BFA from Ohio University in 1988 and his MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1994.

Rick Armstrong
, Board Member, is the Communication Manager at The Andy Warhol Museum, one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. Mr. Armstrong has worked in marketing and branding with The Warhol for over 17 years.

Alicia Kenney, Board Member, is a data analyst at Elliott Marketing Group. She received her BA at Fordham University at Lincoln Center in New York City with an emphasis in visual arts/photography. After 13 years, she moved back to Pittsburgh to get her MBA from Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Joseph Lupo, Board Member, is Professor of Art at West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia. Mr. Lupo is an accomplished printmaker and has held leadership positions with a number of academic and print related organizations including SGC International.

Lindsay O’Leary, Board Member, is a glass artist and technologist with more than a decade of nonprofit management experience. She is the Director of Web Communications and Social Media at Carlow University where she oversees its social media strategies, video production, and leads development and management of www.carlow.edu. She holds two BAs from Denison University and is currently pursuing her MBA at Carlow University.

Melinda Wilson Pietrusza, Board Member, has over 15 years of experience working for non-profit arts organizations, primarily in membership, development, and event coordination. She has volunteered her administrative and marketing services to AIR for over five years.  She currently works as a freelance development and community projects consultant for several non-profit community-based organizations.

Sara Radelet, Board Member, is the former Executive Director of the New Hazlett Theater on Pittsburgh’s North Side. Ms. Radelet also operates a freelance consulting business for non-profit organizations, offering grant writing, fundraising, and strategic planning services.

James T. Reinhard, Board Member, art educator, and artist with over 40 years in the field, including teaching art K through higher education, Education Director at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, and, most recently, Art Department Chair for North Allegheny Schools. Currently consulting and serving as a Media Arts writing team member for the new National Core Arts Standards.

Tresa Varner, Board Member, is an artist and the Curator of Education and Interpretation at The Andy Warhol Museum with over 18 years experience in museums. In addition to directing the museum’s numerous educational and interpretative programs, Varner has lead numerous community art projects and residencies in the region and abroad; most recently with contemporary art venues in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Beijing.

Heather White, Board Member, teaches printmaking at the Pittsburgh’s Public School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) and is Program Coordinator for Artists and Communities at The Andy Warhol Museum. Ms. White has an MA and an MFA from Wisconsin University at Madison and has experience in a number of printmaking processes.

Ian Short,
 Co-Founder, Board Member Emeritus, has over 30 years of teaching experience in photography and printmaking, twenty years of which has been at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where he served as the chairman of the Art Department from 1993 to 1996.
